How did your blog's name come to be?
I named it after my business - Belly Charms
What inspired you to start blogging?
I have been doing lots of reviews and giveaways over the last year for my 2 businesses - http://www.bellycharms.net and http://www.vitalids.com. I have met a lot of fantastic mommy bloggers out there. I introduce a few new jewelry items each month so I thought a blog would be a great way to introduce my new products. My boys are hilarious and some of my WAH days are very entertaining. I am also going to share some of my boy's funny stories on there too.
What do you think sets your blog apart from others?
It is unique, I don't think another blog out there focuses on Maternity Jewerly and Maternity Belly Button Rings. I really hope to participate in a lot of "helping others" type events . I just donated 2 items for Hailey's Angel Silent Auction and I hope I can do more things like that to help others. My younger sister was just diagnosed with a brain tumor on 5/4 and had brain surgery to remove most of it on 5/6. I know that even with insurance, the medical expenses are going to pile up for her. I am in the process of designing some inspirational/ recovery jewerly ( peace, love, hope, faith ). I am going to donate 75% of the sales from these to Sandi and JJ to help them cover expenses. I want her to foucs on trying to get better and not worry about how they are going to pay the bills.
What has been your absolute favorite post?
I am so new at this I really don't have one yet. I think "Toy Bribes Don't Work" would have to be it right now.
What inspires you to blog?
Just being a WAHM.
Can you tell us a little about your writing process?
I honestly just type what comes to mind. I normally work on my blog about 1:00 am so I always read it again the next morning to be sure I did not mess anything up :)
Apart from blogging, what do you like to do?
I have been teaching aerobics for 18 years. Working out and running are my stress relivers and help me to maintain my sanity.
How do you find time to blog?
I do it when my husband and 2 boys are asleep, after I have finished my orders for the day. I just do it in place of sleep - I know I am not alone there :)
What is your greatest accomplishment in life thus far?
Becoming a mom to my boys who are now 3 and 4.
Where do you see yourself in 10-years?
Hopefully doing the same thing, but getting a little more sleep because I will be able to work why my boys are in school. Now they are with me 24/7.....the reason I work at 2 in the morning now.
Do you have children, if so how many?
Yes, 2 boys ages 3 and 4, plus a chocolate lab, a long haired mini dachshund, 2 cats and 2 fish. Does my husband count? Just kidding. I have a fantastic husband and he is a wonderful daddy.
